Charlotte DeWitt, CFEE, has produced waterfront festivals and international events since 1979, working in some 29 countries throughout North America, Europe, “Down Under”, Asia, and the Middle East. A highly respected industry leader, she has been interviewed by print and broadcast media worldwide and is widely sought after as a speaker and consultant.

A member of the IFEA Hall of Fame, Charlotte is Past Chair of IFEA and founder/past President/CEO of IFEA Europe. She writes extensively about festivals and events around the world, including her signature “Industry Compass” article each year.

A native of Boston, Massachusetts (USA), Charlotte enjoys golf, music, golf, travel, golf, and people. She lived in Stockholm, Sweden, from 1994-2004, and speaks fluent American, adequate French, and basic Swedish. She is a Certified Festival and Event Executive (CFEE), but has also been seen as a 3-meter (10 foot)-tall inflatable blue elephant.
